Register as early as possible to take advantage of the early bird discount. Payment in full is required to process all registrations. The registration fee covers all main sessions, workshops, three buffet breakfasts, and the Saturday evening banquet. We will confirm your completed registration by email. The status of your membership as of October 15, 2020, determines your registration fee. Those attending law school or undergraduate school full-time are considered “Students.” When both spouses are either attorneys, law students, or non-lawyer members, then the spouse with the higher registration fee must register and the other pays the spouse fee.
The hotel is located in Crystal City/Arlington and conveniently located a few minutes away from Washington/Reagan National Airport (DCA) and only 27 miles from Dulles International Airport (IAD).
Complimentary shuttle service is available to/from DCA. Taxi and shuttle service by Washington Flyer is available at IAD (approx. $45 one-way fare; see website for details). Rental cars are available at all Washington area airports, and Hertz rental cars are available at the hotel. Parking at the hotel is $20 hourly and $39 daily; valet parking is $45 daily.
CLS will be applying for state bar approved CLE credits. There is no additional charge for CLE credits for workshop sessions; however, you must fill out the proper CLE forms at the conference to receive credit. CLE credit is also available for the main session on Friday morning. CLE credits will be provided for workshops that qualify, which is dependent on the rules of each accrediting state.
Dress for the conference is business casual; Saturday evening gala is business formal.

Any cancellation/request for a refund must be made in writing, and CLS will issue a cancellation number. If received on or before August 15, 2020, a $75 administration fee will apply. If received by 4:00 pm EDT on September 15, 2020, a $150 fee will apply. No refunds will be given after 4:00 pm EDT on October 1, 2020. No-shows will not receive a refund.
Crystal Gateway Marriott provides the perfect home base for our conference in Washington, D.C. Ideally located in Arlington, the hotel is moments away from Reagan National Airport and provides a complimentary shuttle service. The exciting new National Landing development is close by, as is Pentagon City, downtown Washington, D.C., and Old Town Alexandria, all of which are easily accessible via the nearby Crystal City Metro.
